This is the first volume of the series ” Connectivity and Trust Buildings in Islamic Civilization” published as outcomes of Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research project “Islamic Trust Studies” (Grant-in Aid for Transformative Research Areas (A) “Connectivity and Trust Building in Islamic Civilization”), that discusses what the “trust building based on Islamic connectivities” is and shows new perspectives for reframing the history and contemporary significance of Islamic civilization using the term “connectivity” as a key word. It also includes essays on the authors’ finding in the field.
