A01″Mobility and Universality in the Islamic Economy” will hold a workshop “Islamic Economy in comparisons” with C01 “Analyses of Connectivities by Digital Humanities Methods.” In this workshop, Ayumu KONASUKAWA, specializing in archeology in South Asia, will discusses the economy and society in the Pre-“State”/Pre-“Islamic” Period, taking that of Indus civilization as an example.

A03“Migrants, Refugees, and Community Building”and B03“Trust and Peace Building in Conflict Affected Area” will hold a workshop “Pashtuns’ Network in Thailand.”

“C01 “Analyses of Connectivities by Digital Humanities Methods” will hold a series of 4 week seminars for study of digital humanities methods. They are designed for beginners who would like to study digital humanities methods to introduce each method by themselves. A03 “Migrants, Refugees, and Community Building” will hold a workshop “Small Lives in Palestine Observed in Photographs, Literatures and Films” with the group research “Restorative Justice and Gender in the Post-Conflict” of Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A) “Research Project on Islam and Gender: Towards a Comprehensive Discussion” and Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A) “Humanistic and Cross-Disciplinary Research on the Relationship between Humans and their ‘Homeland’ in the Transnational Era.”

B03 “Trust and Peace Building in Conflict Affected Area” will hold the workshop with Group B02 “Trust Building Through Thought and Strategy” (Admission limited to persons concerned in “Islamic Trust Studies”)
